Description

This is a busy, team-oriented shop that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Our service team is critical to the success of our customer relationships.

Duties include general preventive maintenance on all fleet rental equipment, such as performing oils services, and filter changes on gas, and diesel engines.

Key Qualifications

Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield's health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
Experience with 2stroke and 4stroke gas engines as well as construction heaters (propane and natural gas) and a variety of small electrical tools;
Handson experience in troubleshooting and repairs;
Ability to work independently, skilled in time management and organization;
Keen sense of safe practices testing and repair of multiple tool items;
Aerial and Forklift experience;
Team driven but capable to work with mínimal supervision;
Adaptable to oncall work schedules and willing to work to meet the demands of the business;
A customercentric and positive attitude; good communication skills.

Additional Qualifications

Preference will be given to a licensed small engine technician.
Experience working with Stihl products would be an asset;
Hydraulic experience would be considered an asset;
Construction and Landscape equipment knowledge and definite asset;
Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
Your own tools are required.

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
