SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Passion for the kitchen and for producing a great product daily
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
- Customer service skills able to exceed guest expectations with food preparation
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Must work well within a restaurant team culture
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative
- A positive and teamoriented attitude
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- References are required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two or more years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking (Italian an asset)
- Able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
