As a Leasing Professional, you will be an integral member of a team, assisting in the development and implementation of unique and creative leasing strategies.
The duties include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the result will be a new resident
- Lease suites with specific leasing goals in mind
- Maintain waitlists
- Assist in the signing of leases
- Complete movein/moveout inspections with residents
- Maintain a database of contact information
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention
- Complete traffic reports, vacancy reports and related paperwork and submit them to the Property Manager
- Utilize followup programs (i.e., thank you cards, calls, etc.) to provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in ongoing sales training to improve sales techniques
- Report deficiencies in market ready suites and at the property to management
- Visit competitive properties to stay informed on market conditions and complete monthly competitor reports
- Function as backup reception coverage
- Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
- Ensure local, provincial & federal laws and regulations are being observed at the community
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High School Graduate; Post-Secondary Education an asset
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or customer service role is required
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Strong aptitude for sales and customer service
- Above average communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- High degree of professionalism and dedication to all stakeholders
- Must be flexible and adaptable to meet responsibilities as required
- Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional
- Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment while ensuring high standards of work.
- Security clearance required upon offer of employment
- Valid Manitoba Driver's License and reliable vehicle for use in visiting multiple locations throughout the city when needed.
