Guest Service Representative/Breakfast Attendant

THE ROLE:
The Guest Service Representative is responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience, while the Night Audit is in charge of daily transaction reconciliation.
ACTIVITIES:
Guest Service Representative:
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and fulfill special requests.
  • Understand and follow credit and cash-handling policies.
  • Promote hotel services using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Coordinate room updates with housekeeping.
  • Handle reservations, check-ins, checkouts, and payments.
  • Collaborate with all hotel departments for improved service.
  • Report any issues to the manager.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures.
  • Verify and balance daily charges across departments.
  • Run end-of-day reports and reset computer systems.
  • Ensure accurate income postings and charges.
  • Process credit card deposits and city ledger work.

Breakfast Attendant:
  • Provide personalized service to guests.
  • Set up and maintain breakfast buffet following brand standards.
  • Prepare and replenish food items throughout breakfast hours.
