Performs allelectrical tests from standard procedures on all ranges of instrumenttransformers, as determined by Technical Documentation and the Test LabSupervisor, using the appropriate electrical instruments to meet dailyproduction quotas.

Records all test results using standard test forms andprocedures. And fills out daily production reports and any other relateddocumentation. Follows all safety practices and procedures related to highvoltage testing at the workplace.

How You'll Make an Impact

Perform all electrical tests fromstandard procedures on all ranges of instrument transformers as determined byEngineering Instructions using appropriate electrical knowledge and Test Labinstruments to meet daily production quotas.
Coordinate testing with Productionplanning and visiting inspectors.
Issue Test reports of measurementsmade on instrument transformers.
Follow all safety practices andprocedures related to High Voltage testing at the workplace.
Follow up rotating shift systemwith other Testers in the Test Laboratory
Perform material handling tasks,including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Be safety and quality consciousand be a team player.

What YouBring

Must be familiar with the constructionof high voltage instrument transformers.
Common knowledge of ANSI, CSA andIEC standards on high voltage Instrument transformer
Experience in high voltage test isrequired.
Experience in recording andanalyzing test data is required.
Must be able to follow schematics,factory work orders and product drawings, as well as testing and Engineeringinstructions.
Must be able to record test dataaccurately.
Must have the ability to converse,read and write fluently in English to be able to follow verbal instructions andwritten documentation related to the position and the workplace, as well ascomplete any required paperwork.
