Job Summary:


Under the supervision of the Chief Operation Officer, the Reporting Project Manager is responsible for monitoring and reporting on initiatives, in accordance with organizational evaluation frameworks and related metrics.

The Reporting Project Manager will manage the overall reporting process to track timelines and deliverables. This position has accountability for ensuring efficiency and success in reporting from start to finish.

The Reporting Project Manager will work with the Evaluation Lead to implement evaluation/reporting processes and will ultimately be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators and quantitative/qualitative information to report and record progress/impact for all projects.

Through collaboration with the Senior Program Managers and finance staff, this position will execute on reporting requirements to compose and submit funder reports.

The Reporting Manager will serve as the point of contact for funder and client reporting and work closely with other divisions to transfer knowledge.


Responsibilities:


Reporting Process and Report Generation

  • Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting with the Evaluation Lead and Program Directors/Managers.
  • Aggregate monitoring data for evaluation and reporting purposes, analyze data and populates reports with relevant information
  • Tracking project milestones across projects (40+ per year on average) for links and cross delivery
  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting aligned with internal and partner/funder requirements. Responsible for reviewing, editing, formatting, quality control and submissions.
  • Attend meetings to understand reporting needs, program deliverables, and crossproject connections.
  • Ensure reports are well written, meet requirements, and, working with the Finance team, contain financial information.
  • Coordinate testimonials, pictures, recognition requirements, and document records for each project
  • Set up monitoring systems for project data and evidence and perform quality assurance to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports through best practices.
  • Support Delivery Facilitators in collecting information from beneficiaries through training and outreach activities
  • Work with Evaluation Lead to finalize processes, roles, responsibilities, protocols and templates to ensure efficient data collection and implementation.
  • Developing and updating the Results Monitoring Plan to monitor the achievement of indicator targets and examine project progress towards desired outcomes and impact

Support Marketing and Communications

  • Develop the data and other content for impact documents and annual reports to communicate findings.
  • Ensuring funder recognition requirements are met.
  • Collecting essential information for marketing and communications.
  • Provide analysis, creating case studies and reports that illustrate program impact.
  • Support marketing staff in enhancing their data reporting skills.
  • Maintaining a central "reporting library" for easy access.

Support Evaluation

  • Assisting with program evaluation through data cleaning/coding, and survey input.
  • Revising and running reports for program monitoring and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the Development team on funding opportunities.
  • Build team capacity through recruitment and mentoring.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts

Attributes and Qualifications:


  • BA or MA in evaluation, education, public administration, social sciences equivalent experience/education.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • 5 years of experience with program management, reporting, research, evaluation, data collection, analysis, and staff managemen
