Job Duties
Maintain inventory for construction materials, small tools, and construction products.
Maintain property surrounding office and shop, including weed control, litter control and keep yard and grounds in an organized, professional manner.
Serve as main contact for all materials and small tools in the yard.Inspect all equipment and materials when returned to the yard; thoroughly check equipment to make sure it is in working condition and store materials in an orderly fashion.
Utilize scheduling system to coordinate, track and provide trucking for delivery of materials to job sites, and manage resources in and out of the yard.
Maintain accurate inventory records and provide performance and status reports.Implement efficient storage methods to maximize the utility of the space, keeping upcoming jobs accessible, and ensure all materials are stored safely [minimize risk of damage/weathering]
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Possess a valid driver's license
Able to work independently in a busy environment
Experience with routine maintenance operations
Highly flexible with strong interpersonal skills
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Able to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
Work Conditions
Physical ability to lift to 50lb
Travel to off-site locations may be required
Safety equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
