Coordinator:

Reporting to the Electronic Publications Supervisor, your role is to coordinate the efforts of the MHLH and MHP programs (or other programs if required) to ensure that the customer's requirements for each task are clearly defined and that delivery deadlines are met.


What You Will Do:


  • Perform requirements analysis and update processes;
  • Prepare estimates for AWRs and other special projects;
  • Schedule resources;
  • Create and manage operational Key Performance Indices (KPI) to track project progression;
  • Meet with customers (office or virtual);
  • Assist supervisor in hosting Technical Publications working groups and review issues;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Verify that work is completed as per customer statement of work (SOW) and assumptions;
  • Prepare reports for customers;
  • Support supervisor by managing task schedule and deliverables, as required;
  • Regularly interact with internal/external customers to develop a thorough knowledge of their short
- and long-term objectives of the project;

  • Provide support to customer in effectively using the IETM, as required. Collaborate with the Electronic Publications team, system developers, illustrators, multimedia designers, editors and translators to enable the completeness of the work task and the necessary update to the technical publication(s);
  • Support the Electronic Publications Supervisor by providing writing effort estimates for customer approval;
  • Provide inputs for continuous improvement;
  • Provide status reports to the Electronic Publications Supervisor on assigned tasks;
  • Ensure that all team members understand and follow guidelines and procedures.

Required Skills and Experiences:


  • Diploma or certificate in either administration, technical communications, aircraft maintenance, writing or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in aeronautics publications;
  • Must be fluently bilingual (spoken and written) and able to produce high quality reports in both languages.

Must have experience with the following:

  • S1000D International Specification for technical publications;
  • Engineering drawings and documents analysis;
  • Content manager workflows for IETP deployment;
  • Management of customer requirements using a database;
  • Requirements analysis and customer review;
  • Understanding and executing customer scope of work as it relates to customer requirements;
  • XML and Simplified English;
  • Arbortext Epic Editor for creation of documents in XML;

Additional skills desired

  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and professionalism in ail situations;
  • Autonomous, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively assess priorities.

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada
    "Reliability" status and
    Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
  • For onsite positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
