Financial Analyst - Edmonton, AB, Canada - Go Auto

Description

Collaborating closely with our external accountants, lending partners, and executive team, you'll contribute to our continued growth and success through your expertise in financial analysis and reporting.

Provide finance support to operational controllers and the executive team.
Coordinate with external accounting firm for smooth year-end processes.
Assist with integration activities for new mergers and acquisitions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audits, and quality assurance.
Review and enhance financial policies to align with best practices.
Assist with the implementation of new financial reporting software.
Support day-to-day treasury functions.
Communicate with regulatory agencies as required.
Post-secondary degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
~1-2 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
~ Familiarity with ASPE and corporate tax is desirable.
~ Proficiency in Excel and CaseWare.
~ Strong understanding of controls and procedures within a complex organization.

Ability to drive organizational efficiency through data collection.
