Expeditor / Parts Runner

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Monitor the production schedule and identify critical parts requiring expedited handling.
Hand delivers critical parts from one process to another, ensuring their timely movement and minimizing

production delays.

Collaborate closely with production supervisors and operators to prioritize and expedite critical parts as needed.
Maintain accurate records of part movement and update the database or tracking system accordingly.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create detailed reports on part flow, production efficiency, and other relevant metrics.
Attend daily meetings to provide updates on the status of critical parts, production delays, and any relevant

issues.

Proactively identify bottlenecks or potential delays in the production process and take appropriate actions to

mitigate risks.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a machine shop or production environment is essential.
Fluent in both French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking of critical parts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create reports and analyze data.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive problemsolving skills to identify and resolve issues that may impact production flow.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
