Your role


Are you motivated to begin your career in Project Management? In this role, you'll support experienced project managers and get the opportunity to sharpen your skills on diverse range of projects varying in scope and complexity.

You will hone your project management skills by contributing to various projects from commercial buildings and fit-ups, social organizations, schools, water and wastewater and Indigenous communities.

Take a positive approach to your work and enjoy learning and contributing new ideas and solutions. Build strong relationships with your teammates and project stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Support with planning and coordinating project management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspects
  • Working with a variety of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
  • Assisting with formulating and managing project plans
  • Maintaining various systems for the management and control of the project in a manner compatible with client standards, and security protocol for project staff and records management system
  • Reviewing and updating project costs and schedules
  • Preparing project progress reports on project status, project schedules, project expenditures and impending actions to be undertaken

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience supporting real property infrastructure
  • A university or college degree/diploma in engineering, preferably with a background in engineering, architecture or related discipline
  • Experience assisting with construction activities, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • PMP designation or other industry recognized credentials are considered assets
