    Description
    Robertson Electric Wholesale is a highly regarded Electrical Distributor in Canada. Robertson is looking for a Shipping Supervisor (afternoon shift) to join our Head Quarters in Vaughan

    Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the shipping supervisor is accountable for supervising and leading a high performing team responsible for handling product safely, efficiently, and effectively as it moves through the facility (Distribution Center).

    The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.
    Maintains distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
    Responsible for the motivation, training, and leadership of the team of more than 20 employees.
    Monitor team member performance ensuring they are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and as scheduled.
    Maintain accuracy in inventory and outgoing shipments.
    Ensure compliance for all records for the warehouse including: training, maintenance, pre-starts.

    Ensure warehouse doors and gates are locked at the end of the shift and that all lights are turned off.

    Help maintain a tour ready facility by ensuring a clean, organized and working distribution center.

    Knowledge of MS Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
