Description
We are hiring
a Landscape Labourer for one of our clients located at
Alliston. They are into the service of residential and commercial projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in grading and installing interlocking stone and retaining walls.
  • Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures.
  • Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize, and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs, and trees, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers, and other landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.
  • Must adhere to our safe work practices and procedures.
  • Heavy lifting ability

Requirements:


  • 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • Demonstrates safe work practices and maintains a safe work site.
  • Be presentable, professional, and have a great work ethic.
  • Must be familiar with landscaping tools
  • Able to take directions and follow instructions.
  • Strong work ethic reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work outdoors with changes in temperatures.
  • Ability to be a visible team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate:
$22/hr


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Alliston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)

  • Day Shift (preferred)
