You will have the chance to contribute to a variety of HR projects to support the success of Learning and Talent Management functions at First Nations Health Authority.

$ $ $25.44 per hour (pay range explained below)


Contract:
Temporary - 4-month term


Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm)

Metro Vancouver:
Park Royal office - Coast Salish Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Hybrid working is possible option, in line with FNHA's flex work policy.


About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast paced, high functioning HR environment where you will attend team meetings, collaborate with staff and work on meaningful projects that will help have an impact on the work we do.

In addition, you will enhance your understanding of First Nations' culture and traditions, and FNHA's role in improving health outcomes for First Nations people in BC.


About you

  • You may have experience or an interest in:
  • Recent completion or current enrollment in an undergraduate program specific to Human Resources and/or Business Administration, or other relevant under-graduate level program work.
  • Relevant and recent experience in research and analysis, ideally in Human Resources, healthcare and/or First Nations organizations.
  • Must work at an advanced level with PC and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work cross functionally within 2 teams, 40% of your time with L&D and 60% with Recruitment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, strong time management and communication skills
  • Advanced experience composing a range of documents and summarizing data in a report format with metrics.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.


As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
