Under the general direction of the Supervisor, SAP Business System Analysis, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for
assisting in the adoption and implementation of the SAP Finance solutions. This suite includes FI/CO, Accounts Payable, Accounts
must be technically knowledgeable, highly skilled and able to work independently in all aspects of their role. The Business Systems
Analyst will perform requirements analysis and process improvement. Working within the SAP team, the individual will specialize in
the analysis, solution evaluation and implementation of the various finance products and contribute to product adoption and
development of a roadmap.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Work with Digital Division business partners to formulate recommendations and strategies for process improvements and
create optimal Finance solution designs. This includes soliciting and documenting business requirements, modeling current
business processes, and decomposing and rebuilding with a product-centric focus.

  • Evaluate solutions, gather development and implementation estimates, develop technical specifications for system
developers, liaise with the developers, develop test scripts, execute and analyze test results, and assist in rolling out changes
to the user community.

  • Adopt and champion the use of continuous improvement and agile/lean methodologies.
  • Engage with external teams (e.g. SAP, ASUG, Consultants, Contractors) to identify a solution path using existing tools within
- the SAP suite for business functional requirements and requests.
  • May be required to lead a work group, distribute work, quality control, establish priorities, liaise with clients and lead from a

- functional standpoint.
  • Convey complex and technical business issues to diverse audiences.
  • Lead testing initiatives and develop test strategies.
  • Constantly learn new ways to resolve SAP technical challenges more effectively.
  • Stay on top of roadmap announcements and new services within SAP Finance.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and technical direction to junior staff.
  • Liaise with data analytics technical specialists to convert business requirements into viable dashboards and reports.
  • May be required to direct or participate in the development, coordination, and delivery of enduser training.

_ Qualifications:
_


  • A four year Bachelor degree in Commerce, Management of Information Systems or Computer Science major preferred, or a
related discipline from a recognized university plus a minimum of five years of related business systems analyst experience.

  • A two year Diploma in Computer Programming Technology or Business Administration or related discipline from an institute of
recognized standing plus a minimum of seven years of related business systems analyst experience.

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation would be preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform key functions of business systems analysis including:
  • Requirements solicitation, decomposition, documentation, modelling and analysis.
  • Participation in solution design.
  • Development of comprehensive test plans.
  • Execution and analysis of test results.
  • Development of implementation plans.
  • Communicate/report findings and recommendations.
  • Data migration.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage developers, business leads, and D&T business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to support, develop, maintain, configure and lead the adoption of the SAP Finance product suite.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive working knowledge of business processes, policies, practices and integrations associated with
- the Finance product suite.
  • Experience working with S/4 HANA would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories with

- acceptance criteria.
  • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience
