Job Statement


We're looking for a Light Commercial/Residential AV Sales Representative to be responsible for sales activities and sales growth in the province of Ontario.

In collaboration with the Regional Sales Managers, the Light Commercial/Residential AV Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and developing the sales territory.

This position within our organization requires a team-oriented professional with a strong, self-directed work ethic along with effective time management and communication skills.

The ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work under tight deadlines are a necessity. Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Nurture and grow existing customer base
  • Meet/exceed territory & brand sales objectives
  • Responsible for business development
  • Support customer project design and implementations
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Keep current with products, technologies, and competitive landscape
  • Look for new opportunities and potential clients
  • Bridge the gap between CI and Pro product lines opportunity

Qualifications

  • Language requirements: Fluent in English as the Sales representative will be doing business outside of Quebec
  • Sales background with direct channel sales experience
  • Possess 5+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Pro AV Integration, Boardroom/Conference Room Installation, Installed Audio, Professional/Residential Lighting or Residential Custom AV Installation
  • Be familiar with practices in both CEDIA and AVIXIA standards
  • Strong knowledge of AV over IP and current network topology is essential
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening and communication skills
  • Upbeat, passionate, and outgoing demeanor
  • Selfmotivated, detailoriented, and deadlinedriven
  • Outstanding work ethic and enjoys working both independently and in a teambased environment
  • Above average computer skills
  • Goes above and beyond for the customer
  • Thinks creatively
  • Applicant must possess a valid passport, driver's license, and own a vehicle
  • 75% of the time traveling presenting product and in person meetings minimum
  • Have a CTS certification or agree to obtain in the first six months
  • Capable of making decisions for long term results
