Position Information:

Temporary until approximately November 11, 2023.


Rotation/Shifts:

Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (07:30-15:30). Must be available for on-call weekends, and stat holidays.

Basic Requirements:


  • High school diploma;
  • Certificate in electrical or mechanical technology;
  • Medical Gas Technician Course (CHESS) or equivalent;
  • Six (6) Months of experience with medical gas equipment including the servicing of medical gas outlets, testing of medical gas alarm panels, and medical gas bulk storage systems;
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and safety practices for materials used including chemical spill and cleanup procedures;
  • Understanding and reading of blue prints related to location and function of medical gas lines;
  • Ability to calibrate technical gas equipment;
  • Good oral communication skills;
  • Basic math skills;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
