QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
Food Handlers Certificate required and knowledge of safe food handling
Appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in the field of institutional, health care, restaurant or hospitality food service
Dietary Food Service Workers Certificate or enrollment in the program considered an asset
Familiarity with therapeutic diets
Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift an average of 15 lbs
Knowledge of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decisionmaking skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision
Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
Consistent and regular attendance required
Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
Full vaccination in accordance with Niagara Health's Vaccination Policy
