Fed IT, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for IT professions, We operate on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent. All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and evolve in your universe. We cover open positions in IT, development, decision-making and infrastructure. We are currently looking for a POS Specialist Computer Technician for one of our clients located on the North Shore.

YOUR MISSIONS:

Operate various POS systems to update menus, promotions, and standard restaurant configurations.
Provide connectivity to allow downloading of data from franchisee POS systems.
Train restaurateurs and staff on the operation of POS systems and reporting tools.
Test and recommend new technologies related to POS and restaurants.
Link between IT suppliers and restaurant operators.
Produce reports from the data collected, at the request of the various departments.
Undertake any other related task as requested by management.

YOUR PROFILE:

Experience in the restaurant sector, ideally with a POS menu programming system (example: Maître'D, Veloce, Vivonet, Cluster)
Experience in customer support and/or training
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Team spirit and willingness to support people from different departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
Bilingualism is required (French and English)
Computer experience and skills are an asset
