$27.46 to $33.28 per hour (Positions are entitled to Inmate Training Differential allowance which may range from 7-10% of the salary in the position staffed and a $2,140 Correctional Services Special Duty Allowance annually.)

Duties:

Stores Officer and Driver (GS-STS-04)
Receipt, shipping, storage, control, tracking, issuance and disposal of supplies, material and equipment for a correctional facility.

Operation of various institutional motor vehicles and equipment to provide transportation services for staff and escorted offenders, delivery and/or pick up of supplies, equipment and mail for a facility of the Correctional Service of Canada.

Supplies and Services Officer (GS-STS-05)
The primary purpose of this job is the provision of supplies and stores services.

In addition and secondary to supplies and stores services, the incumbent of the position may also need to provide institutional services such as cleaning, laundry, tailoring and other services.

  • Experience in providing store services including receiving, storing, recording and issuing material.
GS-STS-05 STREAM ONLY

  • Experience in at least two of the following:
  • Cleaning or custodial services
  • Purchasing
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Experience in a point of sale system (Cashiering)
Effective Communication - Written

  • Experience in inmate or other canteen operations (point of sale system).
  • Experience in contracting for services or goods.
  • Experience training individuals.
  • Experience working in a correctional facility or other type of institutional environment.
  • Biohazard safety and handling techniques.
