Our ultimate goal is to improve healthcare in Canada by helping doctors do more doctoring, nurses do more nursing, and administrators to be more productive to serve their patients.
The IT Help Desk Analyst will primaly respond to IT tickets and equipment setup in addition to assisting in the on-going support and maintenance of the operational environment (Windows and Linux Servers, Operating System patching, network configuration, end user equipment, Enterprise printers, AV equipment including VoIP).
You will also hold regular trainings on technologies that help increase productivity and employee satisfaction.
You must be a self starter, and have a resourceful and get-the-job-done mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot issues with little guidance and assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT tickets in a professional and timely manor. Identify the issues and resolve or provide solutions.
- Records and maintains infrastructure inventories, site and/or server licensing, user access and security
- Lead the IT onboarding process by deploying equipment, installing software and provide overview sessions for new employees
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues of moderate to advanced complexity and provides oncall support for network, hardware, software and/or system security services including user access and computer configuration
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant stateoftheart technology, equipment, and/or systems
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Completed post secondary (University or College) in IT Systems, Networking or Security
- 13 years of experience as part of an IT team.
- Document problems and resolution for future reference.
- Able to update and support hardware, software and network connections
- Experience coordinating the installation of hardware
- Flexible on after hours work duties is a requirement (mostly planned updates and releases)
- High proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to learn new technologies and implement them
