Manager, Advertising Programs and Sales - Best Buy Ads (13-month contract)

As a Manager of Advertising Programs and Sales, you are responsible for building and nurturing relationships with internal teams as well as media agencies, brands, and advertisers to grow our portfolio of advertising solutions.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in-person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

As manager, Advertising Programs and Sales, you will:

Develop, lead, and grow Best Buy Ads portfolio of advertising solutions with innovative marketing and advertising programs that support category growth initiatives while driving ad revenue growth
Lead the development and execution of Best Buy Ads sales strategy including gotomarket plans, annual sales forecast, and 5year budget plans
Partner with leadership to proactively seek opportunities to develop and launch new ad programs for endemic and nonendemic clients
Develop and maintain rate cards and gotomarket materials, sales presentations, and pitch strategies
Develop internal documentation, training, and presentations to educate and assist internal teams on best practices
Oversee endtoend project management of launching new ad capabilities & execution on existing programs ensuring all business processes and deadlines are followed
Facilitate information flow between Best Buy Ads and internal teams

What we're looking for:

Over 7 years in advertising, marketing, or sales with a minimum of 3 years experience in a retail environment
Proven influential skills amongst diverse business units along with excellent communication and presentation skills
Diploma or Degree in Communications or Commerce, or a related discipline
