The Procurement function is responsible for providing purchasing support, negotiating with third-party suppliers for all good and services in support of business objectives.

The Procurement function sits within the Finance division responsible for providing transactional accounting services; treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting and commercial finance support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare, across all global locations.


The Procurement Process Manager role operates within this function and is responsible for ensuring that all technical and control standards are achieved following strict internal, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards, working collaboratively across other global teams, supporting continuous improvement and daily activities.


A role you will love
This role is responsible for developing global procurement governance and standardization within the Procurement Process
- to support Business Stakeholders and Finance strategic objectives and will management and oversight of the procurement processing team, including liaising with the other managers, team members, and shared services departments to ensure alignment. You will also give recommendations and make decisions that are in the best interest of the process governance, and Computershare, partnering with category managers and other team members to be able to deliver on a range of objectives and will be tasked with making process improvements to steer Procurement towards becoming a source of competitive advantage, innovation and risk management in addition to operational controls.


Lastly, you will develop and manage a high level of knowledge and expertise across Oracle system, policies and procedures, including contract management, vendor management and programme delivery and use you insight and analysis to shape the Procurement governance and operational controls in order to improve the efficiency of the function and drive optimal Procurement performance and best practices.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse, evaluate and propose recommendations to improve the process by evaluate Existing policies, procedures & controls.
  • Effectively perform responsibility, by breaking down the existing process using flow charts, manuals, and other documentation to show the existing processes effectively.
  • Update Department Procedures and Policies including rolling out new changes and improvements, and eliminating policies, procedures and processes that are irrelevant or inconsistent globally in a consistent, accurate manner.
  • Create Documentation Detailing Process Improvements showing the improvements and corresponding details of the implementation. Including stepbystep instructions such that any other person besides the Process Manager can follow through and implement.
  • Conduct ongoing analyses and monitoring of the process, including regulatory guidelines ensuring the changes' to the progress include the necessary adjustments to ensure everything aligns to the global governance model.
  • Provides the Oracle expertise and related P2P featured roadmap for the company.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, process control management, or similar.
  • 4+ years' experience as a process manager.
  • Oracle P2P process and system expertise.
  • Project management qualification or significant experience in this field

Preferred:

  • Industry certification such as CTCRP or CTRPA, ABPMP, FCIPS, CIPS, or CPSM, or Six-Sigma
