This is summer employment with the potential option for extension into the fall.

Your duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • This role will primarily be focused on handling retail store inquiries on rental products for the Special Event Industry.
  • Shifts 9 am5 pm Monday to Friday, and as the business requires.
  • Maintain records related to sales.
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain products based on customer event needs.
  • Sell, or arrange, for delivery and/or event setup services for rental products.
  • Responsible for responding to customer inquiries for information and sales in a timely manner.
  • Work with potential clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Completes accurate processing of all transactions including open and closing procedures.
  • Follows up with every client for accurate quotes, ordering, delivery requests and payments.
  • Assist in physical setup of events as needed. (can lift between 30 to 50 lbs)
  • Researches and stays on top of latest trends in wedding and event industry.
  • Assist and support the linen picking process, backing up the lead picker as required.

Job Type:
Seasonal

Contract length: 3 months


Pay:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour
