Admin - Documents Clerk
Document Clerk
The document clerk is responsible for sorting physical documents into the appropriate categories and scanning physical documents into an electronic file.
Responsibilities:
- Sort physical documents from storage boxes into appropriate categories.
- Scan physical documents in electronic files.
- Precisely back up electronic files using the defined naming convention.
- Perform quality checks on the work done (clear and complete documents, verification of the naming agreement, etc.)
- Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of electronic files.
Education, knowledge and experience required:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe (Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable in using technology, including scanning machine and digital file management.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Attention to details, including data entry.
- Able to work with demanding deadlines with changing priorities.
You need to be physically able to move and open storage boxes that weigh approximately 20 lbs.
each, sort paper folders, stand for 4 to 6 hours in front of commercial scanning equipment, and sit at a desk to use a computer screen, keyboard and mouse.
