Job Description:


Work schedule:
Monday to Friday (
Must be available on weekends)**
Travel required within the province of Ontario (70% of the time on the road)

Full time permanent position
Reporting to the Senior Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Promote a safe and welcoming workplace by enforcing Environmental/Health and Safety standards and procedures across your territory.
  • Work with and support Branch Managers ensuring procedures are being followed and that standards are respected and aligned with business needs.
  • Manage, support, and develop branch managers by delegating responsibility and providing continuous feedback, coaching and training.
  • Be accessible and present at your designated branches; relay information from corporate office to your designated regions.
  • Ensure current process and procedures are being met; work with support partners to optimize processes in order to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Drive accountability, enforce documentation and analyze the performance of your designated branches.
  • Perform internal audits
  • Support and participate in departmental initiatives, projects, and strategies.
  • Provide overall operational direction and consistency to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Monitor key performance indications (KPIs), identify action plans, and mitigate any gaps.
  • Review and monitor reports, establish, and maintain a budget for your territory and ensure that branches control and maintain their budgets.
  • Work in collaboration with other departments, business partners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Actively participate in recruiting Branch Managers and Assistant Managers, create and lead onboarding process for new managers and assist with onboarding process for employees at the branch level
  • Establish a team focus by developing objectives that align with company visions and values
  • Represent the organization to the public, including key stakeholders while adhering to best practices regarding customer service
  • Attends any emergencies that arise at the site level and provide resolution or the appropriate level of communication
  • Carry out Branch Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager

Qualifications:


  • Leadership with a strong ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and make difficult decisions;
  • Good understanding of the market and customer relationship management;
  • Strong analytic skills to analyze data and to develop and adjust business plans
  • College or university degree; or five years of related multiunit retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple operational functions, including finance, customer service, production, and people management
Additional Information

  • Office based in Burlington, Ontario;
  • Travel required within the province of Ontario (70% of the time on the road);
  • May be required to work outdoors exposed to hot and cold weather;
  • Must be available on weekends. Our retail branches are open 7 days a week.
