Neecheewam Inc. has a 1 full-time position available at Blue Turtle Healing Lodge, shifts will include Days, Evenings, Weekends and On-call duties as required. Blue Turtle Healing Lodge is a one bed placement program, with a Level 5 youth, it is essential that there is experience with working with high-risk youth: knowledge in sexually exploited youth, drug use and trauma.

Key Qualifications Required:

Ø Child & Youth Care Diploma preferred. Experience working with children, at-risk and sexually exploited youth. Education of youth with addiction, substance abuse and trauma.

Ø Knowledge and appreciation of the Indigenous Culture and Traditions. Strong knowledge of the issues affecting our children, families, and communities.

Ø Have demonstrated leadership qualities and must be able to work independently and as a valued team member and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ø Ability to conduct oneself in a professional capacity when dealing with all CFS Agencies or any other related external organizations.

Ø Organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills are necessary and possess a high level of advocacy skills.

Ø Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident in decision making.

Ø Valid Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Prior Contact Check are required.

Ø Valid First Aid/CPR required.

Ø Valid Driver's License an asset.

Salary:
From $19.01 per hour
