Bellamere Winery & Event Centre is looking for a part-time Dishwasher to join our growing team.

_The Role_
As a Dishwasher at Bellamere, you are responsible for supporting the team during, before and after events in a fast-paced culinary environment


This means you:

  • Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
  • Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
  • Changes water of machines and sinks as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab
  • Maintains trash cans throughout shifts and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
  • Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
  • Work according to all of Bellamere's health and safety standards
  • Support with other duties as may be required

_What you bring to the table_

  • Availability to work midweek, weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from Bellamere
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Selfmotivated with a high energy level
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
  • Ability to safely move and lift items up to 20 lbs
  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently, taking direction and capable of following instructions
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff
  • Able to work in a predominately standing position for long periods of time
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes following Bellamere's uniform policies
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a bonus, but not required

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week


Salary:
$17.55 per hour
