We are looking for a
Site Lead to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites.

As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.

A Site Lead has a solid background in the field.

Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.

You must be well-organized and favour safety above everything else.

This Site Lead position will support our full service commercial construction team,
Pacific Solutions Contracting.

SITE LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
  • Active onsite construction
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities
  • Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
  • Ensure staffing numbers and resources are adequate
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
  • Resolve problems when they arise
  • Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

SITE LEAD REQUIREMENTS:

  • A positive attitude
  • Proven experience as a Construction/Project Supervisor
  • Indepth knowledge of construction procedures
  • Ability and confidence to make on site decisions and open to asking questions when unsure
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • An aptitude in math
  • Problemsolving abilities
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Personal tools
  • Vehicle
  • High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$36.00-$42.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
