Minimum Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree or diploma
- 3+ years of relevant civil estimating industry experience, preferably in Asphalt municipal and DTI related projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HeavyBids
Day in the Life:
- Step into the exciting world of construction tendering, where you as an estimator are armed with a strategic mind and a competitive spirit You will fearlessly navigate design/build and buildtospec contracts, deciphering project drawings and specifications like seasoned codebreakers. With a keen eye for detail, you will perform accurate takeoffs, concocting detailed estimates from the depths of first principals and cost history, using your estimating software expertise
Keeping in close contact with the project managers, you will assist with change orders and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the public, you will not be limited to being just a numbers' expert, you're also a construction superhero ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
