Job Purpose Summary
The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the workflow between Service Advisors, Foreperson and Back Counter Parts Technicians.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Contact customers for service appointment confirmation
  • Contact customers to make appointments after backordered parts have arrived
  • Contact customers after service appointment is made to advise them of overdue maintenance
  • Checks in asset arrivals in the yard and takes four corner photos
  • Works with Service Foreperson and Back Counter Parts Tech to create and send repair estimates
  • Works with Service Foreperson, Back Counter Parts Tech and Service Advisors to coordinate repairs after customer approval
  • When repairs are complete, ensure that technician stories are completed
  • When repairs are complete, ensure that warranty parts are tagged & saved, and photos are uploaded
  • Perform customer feedback surveys over the phone
  • Provide back up as Service Advisor during vacation and absences
  • Create service purchase orders and coordinate with external vendors
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fastpaced environment
  • Grade 12 or GED required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
  • Effective problemsolving skills
