Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEO) with precision and attention to detail.
  • Direct and lead the coordination and execution of events, taking full ownership from planning to completion.
  • Work within a dynamic team to foster strong relationships and collaboration across all departments, particularly with Food and Beverage.
  • Uphold and pursue our 5 Diamond Standards, consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Engage in frontfacing, clientdriven sales to align with and exceed our guests' visions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including corporate events, weddings, and intimate curated affairs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, openmindedness, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our event planning processes.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in fullcycle event planning is essential.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a clientdriven environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and going above and beyond expectations.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Openminded, curious, and dedicated to personal and professional growth.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the unique challenges of our highend boutique hotel.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Background in food and beverage is considered a bonus.

MUST HAVE:

Be able to legally work in Canada, be fluent in English, and live within a commutable distance of Stratford, Ont.

This is an in house full time position.


Salary:
$21.75-$24.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 35 per week
