Our Client has two plants, Vaughan, and Stouffville with our central dispatch located in Concord.With the most innovative modern technologies, Our client continues to serve the industry as one of the most reliable independent ready-mix producers in Ontario, servicing Toronto, and the GTA.
Job Summary
Our client is looking for responsible drivers for the delivery of concrete and maintaining the quality during the transfer from plant to job-site.
Additional /overtime hours as per business requirements - flexibility (including weekends) required with significant time investment during peak periods and when workload necessitates.
- Deliver concrete in a ready mix truck in a safe and professional manner.
- Performs daily routine vehicle inspection.
- Records delivery ticket information.
- Maintains the interior, exterior and drum clean when required.
- Acts as a liaison between the customer and the dispatch office.
- Related industry experience.
- Possession of a valid DZ Driver's License in good standing.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- General knowledge of GTA and surrounding areas.
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
Salary:
From $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- DZ License (required)
