The purpose of the Instructor is to lead and contribute to the academic success of students and to the success of the College in achieving its statement of purpose.
Under general direction, the Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction and facilitating student learning according to the prescribed curriculum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:
- Effective and clear communication is a must.
- All First Aid Assistant Instructors will be expected to demonstrate all physical skills during every first aid class and supervise practical handson learning experience for every student.
- Be familiar with red crosses Boulevard learning platform, and creating lesson plans and exams as needed.
- Must be prepared to provide first aid as needed.
- Must be prepared to ensure the safety of students and staff by upholding all pandemic related policies strictly.
Qualifications
To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
Education and Experience:
- First Aid & CPR/AED Instructor
- Standard First Aid CPR & AED Level C and CPR-C Recertification
- Additional teaching experience and credentials welcome. Opportunities available.
Skills and Abilities:
