Fybond and Vitafoam, a division of VPC Group Inc., is looking for 1
permanent full-time
CNC Machinist with the below mentioned skills to support its manufacturing operation in
Winnipeg for
Day shift.

Mechanically skilled (troubleshoot issues with saw, change blades, adjustments as needed with or without assistance from maintenance)
Determine operating conditions for different foam grades.
Blade sharpening
Cutting speed
Block width limitations
Block placement
Proficient with AutoCAD
Determine best nesting procedures to minimize scrap given limitations for foam.
Program cutting for efficient cutting times while keeping contoured profiles accurate.
Determine buffers and tweaks for tolerances based on outputs from cut contours and translate to existing or new products/drawings.

Requirements:

23 years of experience working with a CNC machine manufacturing environment
Demonstrate expert ability to identify and remove bottle necks in production process
Excellent problemsolving skills and critical thinking with an exceptional communication
