You are part of a team responsible for the IT infrastructure, and your main responsibilities are as follows:

Monitor and analyze the performance of systems and networks.
Design, write, and maintain uptodate technical documentation for networks and systems, and act as a resource person for IT technicians.
Verify daily server backups and correct errors as needed.
Perform backups and recovery of network equipment configurations. Keep software and systems up to date.
Ensure the security of networks and servers and the data they contain.
Integrate software upgrades as they become available.

Qualifications

College or university degree in computer science or in a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a system and/or network administrator.
Experience in configuring, operating, maintaining, and monitoring network equipment and servers.
Experience in server virtualization with VMWare. Extensive experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and GPO deployment.
Experience in hyperconvergence, iSCSI SAN storage networks, cloud computing, particularly Office 365 and Azure.
Experience in system and network security.
Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA, MCITP...), CCNA, and any other certifications in networking, servers, and security would be a significant asset.
