  • Saturday 9:30am 6pm, some OT required

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Team Lead works alongside the crew, directs their daily work, trouble shoots issues, completes paperwork, manages inventory systems, problem solves and brings questions or concerns to the attention of the supervisor.

The Team Lead will safely and efficiently coordinate transfer various products that arrive at our facility.


Responsibilites include:

  • Report to the immediate supervisor to prioritize daily job requirements.
  • Work alongside crew and informs them of the daily plan.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of paperwork.
  • Monitor the performance of yard, shop and/or divisional employees and discusses with the supervisor as necessary.
  • Continue to perform the work for which he/she was hired i.e. Driving truck, Operating machinery, Repair and Maintenance etc.
  • Report all incidents, problems or concerns with regards to technical, safety, labour, materials, equipment and process to the immediate supervisor.
  • Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence.
  • Operating low and high capacity forklifts and shunt trucks
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, or perform minor maintenance for any machinery that requires attention.
  • Effectively train new employees.
  • Communciation with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

You Possess:

  • Willingness to learn new tasks and become efficient in all aspects of operation
  • Experience with forklifts is required
  • Experience in a warehouse is required
  • Previous supervision experience is an asset
  • Previous experience on a shunt truck is an asset
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office and SAP is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Ability to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
  • First Aid skills and/or certificates are considered assets
