This position will require in-Office presences few times a week, with the option of remote work for rest of the days.


Responsibilities:


  • Work on daily Helpdesk tickets submitted to the helpdesk queue by our internal customers
  • Reimage laptops/desktops, configure newhire systems and perform IT onboarding for new employees
  • Implement, improve and document new and existing policies, procedures and processes for various IT systems
  • Assist in supporting employees in the office or remote workers as necessary
  • Be the escalation point for all level 2 issues from junior Helpdesk specialist agents
  • Daily administration of O365, MDM solution (Intune) and endpoint management solution (ManageEngine Desktop Central)
  • Provide support for Office printers, individual workstations, phones and A/V equipment in office conference rooms
Requirements for the role

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or a technical diploma
  • Effective communication, patience, tenacity and followthrough in tracking, troubleshooting and bringing to resolution internal customer support calls
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts/procedures/policies to nontechnical internal customers; collaborate and coordinate with members of other teams to track, isolate and resolve technical issues
  • Strong task and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, triage and resolve in an efficient and effective manner
  • Intermediate knowledge of OS concepts, Active Directory account creation and maintenance with OU and Security Group management as well as Group Policy.
  • Working knowledge of performing basic tasks in Office 365 admin center and exchange online admin center
  • Experience with basic scripting such as PowerShell and Bash, with exposure to scripting for task automation
  • Experience with basic troubleshooting and network concepts with a fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing, connectivity troubleshooting, cabling, etc.
  • Working knowledge of computer security best practices and policies
