SUMMARY - _Breakdown Coordinator_**
Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off; 05:00 AM to 05:00 PM
The TransX Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for a
Breakdown Coordinator to join our maintenance department in our Winnipeg head office location.
This position is accountable for managing all inbound calls from our drivers and operations team; reporting issues such as on-road breakdowns, accidents, and coordinating repair schedules with our inside service or outside repair service requests.

KEY ACTIVITIES
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Arrange for the repairs of the equipment in the most cost-effective and time-effective manner
- Communicate pertinent details to the Drivers and Operations department as well as many other interested departments
- Process invoices for payments for all repairs at outside repair vendors
- Scrutinize and process invoices related to OTR repairs
- Preventable onroad equipment reporting
- Out of service equipment reporting
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
_ Experience_
- Training or experience in a mechanical trade is an asset
- Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Organizational skills with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines, time management, and conflict resolution skills
- The technical competencies required consist of general mechanical knowledge of trucks, refrigeration units, and trailers.
