We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our team Hours of work are based on a rotating Days (7:00am - 3:30PM) and Afternoons (3:10pm - 11:40pm) schedule.

The position duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Interpret, setup, and operate machines in accordance with specifications, drawings, and job information
  • Setup CNC Jig plates outside of machines
  • Work with designers to create and/or modify prints to reflect changes
  • Requisition supplies and spare parts for CNC and EDM machines
  • Assist and provide suggestions for improvement (quality, efficiency, production)
  • Support new tool build teams to meet requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance as needed
  • Conduct minor programming as required
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to safety policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of CNC Technician or Manufacturing Engineering programs is preferred
  • Experience as a CNC or EDM Operator an asset
  • Basic MS Office, CAD skills and programming skills
  • Selfmotivated with proven experience to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Proven experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach daily
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs daily
