Amplifon Canada, a leader in the rapidly growing hearing care industry has a demand for this critical role on our IT Team.

As the IT Manager, you'll oversee all facets of Information Technology for Amplifon Canada.

This encompasses Retail, Supply Chain, Finance and Analytics Systems, Cybersecurity Infrastructure, and User Services, spanning our headquarters in Ontario and stores across all Canadian provinces.

Your role is pivotal in steering technology across the country in alignment with corporate standards, group strategy guidelines, and the quality benchmarks established with local stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with Canadian laws and regulations.


What You'll Do:


Systems and Data Security**- Maintain and monitor overall infrastructure, hosting, connectivity and security of the company's systems: Sycle for Retail, Oracle Fusion for Supply Chain and Finance, Google BigQuery / PowerBi for Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager and Marketing Cloud for Marketing and Five9 for Call Center.


  • Ensure that the maximum level of security is consistent with organizational risk, information access requirements and business strategies.
  • Regularly performs a data privacy & security risk assessment for the overall organization; plans and implements mitigation actions.

Infrastructure

  • Ensure high availability of Critical Systems
  • Manage domain names registration, SSL certificates, and web servers.
  • Perform system admin function to ensure smooth running of business.
  • Manage procurement and inventory of hardware (computers, servers, network equipment, etc.) and warranty renewal.
  • Support store expansions / acquisitions from the IT infrastructure perspective.
  • Manage and support VOIP phone system and mobile phones.

Service Desk

  • Coordinate with the regional service desk leader to provide leadership for all daytoday Service & Delivery operations ensuring that service levels are achieved for all managed services.
  • Manage and lead an integrated technical support team, currently composed by a shared service desk, one field support analyst and thirdparty service providers in Canada.

Other

  • Organize and lead the disaster recovery testing and planning as it pertains to technical systems.
  • Collaborate and manage relationship with corporate and NA Regional IT team and external suppliers for IT operations.
  • Create and manage annual budgets for the entire area in the region.
  • Provide after hours and weekend support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in IT field required. MBA / Advanced Technology Management desirable.
  • IT Service Management and Vendor Management proficiency required. ITIL certification preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in Service Management, Server admin and/or Network/Security administration role (hands on or leading a tech team).
  • 3+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Must have project management experience.
  • Technical Budget management experience.
  • 3+ years on vendor management experience (Performance Management, Contract negotiation, RFPs)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with security regulations like SOC2 Type2, HIPAA, HiTrust is preferred.
  • Hearing aid industry and/or retail experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service.
  • Displays a high degree of motivation, dedication and team orientation.
  • Must be comfortable working with all levels of the organization,
  • Exceptional leadership, people management and conflict resolution skills are imperative for success in this position.
  • Capable of reading diagnosing problems during business and nonbusiness hours. Committed to providing a high degree of customer service.
  • Must have good understanding of Networking, encryption concepts and security concepts.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills and is open to changes.

Physical/Mental Demands:


  • Required to be seated for 8 hours in front of computers.
  • Requires periodic travel aligned with the needs of the business.
