Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring the following 3 Lab Tech Positions on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.

Who we are:

What you'll do:

You will work safely as a part of the laboratory team to collect and analyze samples from process streams and tankage from various locations.
You will be involved in obtaining accurate results using established procedures (ASTM, CGSB).
You will be accountable for your contributions to meet quality assurance and turnaround time specifications.
You will ensure a safe work environment by following established safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and basic lab equipment use and maintenance.
You will perform duties that are of physical nature, climbing ladder/ stairs, carrying samples and walking on various terrain.
You will complete other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

You have a grade 12 and a minimum post-secondary diploma/certificate in Chemical Technology/Biotechnology or a B.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
In addition, you are required to have completed at least one Organic Chemistry and one Analytical Chemistry class as part of your program.
You must have a good mechanical aptitude and be physically capable to perform Lab and general maintenance work.
You must be prepared to participate in and successfully complete the additional Lab Training Programs involved.
