ServiceMaster of the Fraser Valley is a restoration company that started in Abbotsford in 2002 and since has opened offices in Langley and soon Chilliwack. The
HR Associate will work out of our Abbotsford location, with occasional travel requirements to our Langley and Chilliwack offices.

Typical working hours would be 8:00am - 4:30pm


Core Responsibilities:

-
Manage Employee Files: This includes working with Managers and Team Leads of staff to ensure employees are scheduled for their performance reviews as well as on track with internal training and professional development opportunities.

On-boarding:Working with various team members in multiple departments to ensure the successful on-boarding of new staff. This includes, but is not limited to, various paperwork, tours, training schedule, equipment, logins, etc. being ready for a successful Day
Company Culture: Ensuring the company values are reinforced with every initiative and communication and developing strong business relationships with key stakeholders to help drive transformative change for the company.


Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Actively search for new staff dependent on departments needs
  • Participate in biweekly Team Lead Huddle meetings
  • Manage and track vacation requests as they come in
  • Be proactive in managing employee files and their various needs/requirements
  • Create and coordinate oncall schedule for Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants
  • Manage company vacation calendar
  • Maintain company organizational chart (org chart)
  • Manage company benefits package (communicate with provider, submit paperwork for eligible employees, etc.)
  • Manage company RRSP/DPSP (communicate with provider, submit paperwork for eligible employees, etc.)


The
HR Associate reports to the
CEO & GM and will work as a team to advance the interests of the company.
