The Opportunity:

Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Category Managers on maintaining healthy inventory levels
  • Work to establish and manage inventory budgets tied to Category Management business plans
  • Play a leadership role in developing stocking strategies across the business
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors
  • Look for continuous improvement in process and execution of product flow
  • Support seasonal and promotional inventory management in and out of seasons/events
  • Coach and provide feedback to direct reports with a focus on skill development and industry best practices
  • Act as the inventory system expert on replenishment and forecasting
  • Ensure inventory data integrity is maintained
  • Optimize purchasing and replenishment practices within the Inventory Management System
  • Create KPI's for the Inventory team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Inventory Management, specifically purchasing and replenishment
  • Bachelor's degree or postsecondary education in supply chain management, business, purchasing or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working for an omnichannel retailer with a large eCommerce presence
  • Understanding of the full supply chain, including freight costs, foreign exchange, and warehousing
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and coaching to team members
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Team Player with a strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Additional Information

  • This role reports to the Director of Purchasing and Replenishment
  • This is a fulltime opportunity operating Monday-Friday, with additional overtime hours in peak seasons
  • This position may operate under flexible work hours and partial remote work arrangements following completion of the training period
