About the role


As a Student on the Corporate Strategy team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the stability of Canada's financial system.

This position offers hands-on experience in a diverse work environment, networking and mentorship opportunities, and above all, meaningful work.

This is a part-time opportunity with possibility of extension.


We trust you will be up to the challenge

  • Work under the direction of the Director and/or Managers of the Corporate Strategy team in completing projects included as part of corporate reporting.
  • Play a key role in assisting with the corporate plan, annual report processes, corporate scorecard, and Environment, Social, and Governance strategy. The foundation of these processes is driving strategy formulation across the organization.
  • Researching, learning, and advising on Treasury Board Secretariat guidance applicable to CDIC, as required.
  • Work with the team to set strategic priorities that are designed to address our enterprise risks and advance CDIC's mandate.
  • Other support to the Corporate Strategy team as required.

  • The student position in Corporate Strategy is open to students working towards a degree in economics, law, public administration, political science, international affairs or another field relevant to the duties of this position.
  • The specialization may be obtained at the undergraduate (fourth year) or graduate level.
