What Will Your Day Look Like?
As a Marketing Operations Project Manager, you'll be responsible for development projects for our key global clients. Your focus is on timely, cost-effective, and top-quality outcomes. You'll be the key project contact, collaborating with the Marketing Operations team, other internal departments, and client-side stakeholders.


Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with clients while managing their expectations.
  • Providing project updates, and requirements to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in brainstorming for solutions depending on client expectations, while keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and any set backs.
  • Crafting project outlines, schedules, and financial plans.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive marketing project plans, considering objectives, target audience, timelines, and budget restraints.
  • Keeping projects on track by consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining steady progress.
  • Monitoring project progress, track milestones, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Conducting regular project meetings to provide updates on project status, address issues, and foster collaboration.
  • Navigating through data dashboards to measure project KPIs.
  • Monitoring campaign performance metrics, and conduct postproject evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Providing quick yet thoughtful solutions or alternatives to daytoday challenges that arise.
What Do You Bring to the Table?

You are a professional with proactive and problem-solving approach. You are dedicated to delivering top-notch results, even when faces with challenges. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, your organizational prowess enables you to balance big-picture goals while attending to fine details.


Additionally, you offer:

  • 13 years of Project Management experience, preferably in marketing, communications and/or digital operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proven skill in client management and expectation setting.
  • Agility in using project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work professionally within internal and clientfacing interactions.
  • Selfstarter attitude with a keen eye for optimizing processes and resources.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
At VML MAP Marketing Operations, we provide local focus, regional expertise, and global service.

To make this possible, our department is comprised of a global team working from Toronto, Lisbon, Bangkok, Copenhagen and San Jose.

This role is based out of Toronto, with a lot of freedom and flexibility to manage your schedule, but we also want to see you in the office.

We expect you to be flexible, with a can-do attitude. You must be available for frequent international travel.
