Job Description:
Reporting to the MIS Manager
Key Accountabilities
(Estimated 100 %) Support for equipment packing and re-installation during office relocation, in line with company policies.
Duties
- Ensure all job functions are performed in accordance with the Guillevin Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) Manual:
- In particular, respect all company IT security policies.
- Behave in an ethical and professional manner reflecting the values of the Company.
- Office relocation support:
- Help shutdown, pack and label equipment from the current location (Coquitlam)
- Help unpack, install and test IT equipment at the new location (Abbotsford)
- Possible assistance with cable patches numbering and installation (to be confirmed)
- Participate to project management meetings to track and evaluate progress
- Communicate progress to the rest of the IT team as defined by MIS management
- Troubleshoot issues (level 1 and level 2 support) after machines are installed
- Demonstrate excellent customer service while respecting company policies
- Excluded from the role:
- Moving boxes or heavy equipment.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Dynamic, has a sense of urgency and priorities.
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a user support role in a service center.
- Recognized college or university degree in information technology or related field.
