Job Description:


The DSU Events Commissioner is responsible for coordinating O-Week outreach, planning, volunteer training, and working as part of a team to lead some of the DSU's most successful and inclusive events.

Duties

  • Work alongside the DSU Vice President Student Life in the coordination and execution of various programming.
  • Work and contribute to multiple projects for the Student Life Department. This includes; event conceptualizing and research, contributing to interuniversity working groups, and assisting fulltime staff members and elected officials of the DSU to organize and actualize events
  • Create programming for the Grawood.
  • Any other duties assigned by the VPSL.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current Dalhousie University student
  • Supervisor and leadership experience is an asset
  • Past participation in DSU O-Week Committee is an asset
  • Must be available to work hours per week from December April 2024

Pay Rate:
$16.00/per hour
