Job Summary:

The Senior BAS Systems Technician is responsible for providing start-up and commissioning, programming, site coordination and technical support for assigned projects and service.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for final deliverables including fully functioning and tested building control systems
Responsible for complete commissioning of building control system(s) including closeout
Coordinate with related parties including customer, trades and suppliers
Participate in new control system commissioning (Cx) and functional performance testing including meetings, reports and coordination
Communicate with customers and other service providers and participate in the resolution of control system and HVAC system issues
Liaison with design and installation team
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
Adhere to the Company's Quality System operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Trade school / Community college certificate
Building Systems Technician (HVAC&R), instrumentation or equivalent related work experience
Five years plus work experience in the building control system industry
Strong working knowledge of commercial and institutional building HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, primary and secondary systems
Well developed HVAC and control system troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to communicate technical material to nontechnical audience
Goal oriented. Able to multitask.
Superior time management skills
Superior organization skills
Technical strength in IT networks and programming. Proficiency in coding including script, block programming, HTML, MS Excel.
Experience in programming and commissioning DDC systems.
Must possess valid drivers license
