We are looking for a
Warehouse Operator who will be responsible for performing all tasks related to receiving operations, warehousing, inventory control, internal production support and shipping, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety and environmental standards.

On a day-to-day basis, the
Warehouse Operator **will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and route pallets required to support operations by means of a forklift to various internal and external areas.
  • Verify and create inventory of products received and perform material processing tasks for transfer to storage such as cleaning, labeling, pallet transfer and packaging
  • Utilize a computerized inventory management system in the performance of daily tasks related to the creation, consumption, movement and rejection of inventory according to GMP standards.
  • Maintain inventory health (inventory counts, material destruction, processing of rejected materials, etc.).
  • Manage and update an inventory of consumables essential to operations.
  • Inspect forklifts at the beginning of the shift and operate them in a safe manner according to the practices taught during driver training.
  • Perform required tasks in an efficient manner and in compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and GMP standards and guidelines.

You are the person we are looking for if:

  • You hold at least a Hight School Diploma or a Canadian equivalent.
  • You have two (2) years of experience in a pharmaceutical or food industry environment, ideally GMP, ISO or HACCP
  • You have experience in forklift driving.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • You are customer oriented, have good communication skills, ability to work independently, a good collaboration spirit and a strong sense of organization and priority management.
  • Work schedule of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • You must be able to handle/lift up to 23 kilograms.
